Welcome!

The Peer Review in Social Protection and Social Inclusion and Assessment in Social Inclusion sub-programmes have been created to boost cooperation in modernising social protection and in combating poverty and social exclusion in the European Union. Combining regular Peer Reviews with assessments of national social inclusion policies by a Network of Independent Experts, the aim is to develop a voluntary mutual learning process among countries.

Regular Peer Reviews have been established to promote the identification and exchange of good practices in the field of social inclusion policies throughout the European Union1.

Policy assessment activities are carried out by a Network of Independent Social Inclusion Experts, in charge of compiling and reviewing information on national policies and providing the Commission with reports and assessments of recent policy developments.
